~Zasu Pitts is her real name. She had two doting aunts, Liza and Susan, and she was named after them,
combining parts of both of their names. Miss Pitts first became interested in the drama when she
played in school theatricals. She is, in the opinion of Eric Von Stroheim, one of the greatest
tragediennes of the day. Born in Parsons, Kansas, in 1898, she is 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighs 115, and
has brown hair and blue eyes. She married Tom Gallery in August, 1920, has one daughter and an
adopted son.~
