| ~Plot Synopsis~ |
At the outbreak of war, Knockout Hansen, under the egis of manager Stinky Smith, is knocked out
by Sailor Percival Scruggs. Stinky absconds with the funds from the fight; Hansen apprehends him
near a naval recruiting station during a parade; and both unintentionally are drafted into the Navy.
For annoying Captain Smithers, they are thrown into the brig, only to find that Sailor Scruggs is
master-at-arms. As their ship enters a mine zone, Madelyn Phillips induces them to take her over
the side in a rowboat. She miraculously disappears, and their boat is run down by a French
dreadnaught; after their rescue, the convoy is attacked, but the ship is accidentally saved by the
pair. After the war, Madelyn is awarded a medal for her service. Mustered out of the Navy,
Knockout bests Scruggs in a match.
