| ~Virginia Valli was born in Chicago, Ill., January 19, 1900, and remained in the Windy City long enough to get an education. She went on the stage and became famous as an interpretative dancer. A director at Essanay needed a dancer for his picture and after seeing Virginia he gave her the part. She did so well that she was given a contract. Like so many Irish Americans she has blue eyes and dark hair. She is 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds. Married and divorced from Demarest Lamson.~ |
